Prancis - Prancis baru saja meresmikan jalan raya baru di Pulau Reunion. Jalan raya ini dilaporkan sebagai proyek jalan termahal di Prancis. Bagaimana bentukannya?

Proyek jalanan Nouvelle Route du Littoral ini dilaporkan sebagai proyek jalan termahal di Prancis.

Jalan raya ini memiliki bagian di atas laut sepanjang 5,4 km dari total panjang 12,5 km.

Jalan raya baru itu dibangun di samping jalan raya yang sebelumnya ada di bawah tebing vulkanik.

Karena badai tropis dan bebatuan yang berjatuhan, jalur lalu lintas ini sering mengalami banjir dan tanah longsor sehingga dibangunlah jalan Nouvelle Route du Littoral.

Nouvelle Route du Littoral menghubungkan dua kota utama di Pulau Reunion, yaitu Saint-Denis dan La Possession.
